In addition to English, Linda is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. She is well-versed in Asian business practices as she previously owned a business in China. Linda understands the importance of understanding both Eastern hemisphere culture and West hemisphere culture for all parties to succeed in business together.
In a previous job Linda was responsible for procurement from manufacturers in China for a major Western retail chain, and to review & maintain QA/QC. She is proficient in customer relationships and management of projects with a strong background in business strategy and planning. Linda is client-focused and always looks for long-term win-win relationships between people and companies.
Linda has experience in financial planning, merger agreements, budgets and project management. She is an expert in having projects completed on time and on budget. Linda was the owner of a successful Calgary business in which she analyzed the existing business model, developed a re-branding strategy to better target the desired client base, created a company policy manual and maintained all financial records, taxes and licenses as well as hiring staff. She has experience in developing value-based strategies and researching profiles to develop successful strategies in business. Linda is a skilled negotiator when it comes to meeting the client’s expectations and needs when addressing any client concerns.
Linda graduated from the University of Calgary with a Commerce degree. She also has a Business Administration Diploma with a major in Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
