Cheryll Januszewski has over 15 years’ experience as a Human Resources professional, during which time she has led HR teams, and worked in partnership with senior business leaders, to create high performing teams, manage organizational change, and build inclusive cultures.
Her experience spans both the UK, where she originates from, and Canada, where she lived and worked for almost a decade. She has adeptly applied her skills as a natural facilitator and strategic thinker in a range of sectors including education, government, professional services and travel, in both corporate and nonprofit contexts. She takes a data driven approach to people strategy and understands the importance of demonstrating strategic value and bottom line impact when it comes to HR initiatives.
More recently, Cheryll’s drive to create diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace cultures led her to co-found Libra Consulting Ltd., with her partner Jillian Kruschell. Together they work with organizations to integrate gender diversity and equity into business strategy, through the design and implementation of tailored strategies and programs. They are particularly passionate about advancing business performance through the increased participation and advancement of women in the workplace.
Cheryll holds a BA (Hons) in English Language and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. She is also a CPHR (Chartered Human Resources Professional) in Canada, and has CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) status when practicing in the UK. In addition to her professional accreditations, she holds a Diversity and Inclusion Influencer certification, issued by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, and a certificate in Workplace Investigations, issued by the CPHR.
