Claudia Cano is a strategic executive leader with more than 20 years of experience in education, child welfare, and human services, known for building strong organizational cultures, leading complex operations, and elevating workforce capacity. As the Founder and Executive Director of Focusing to Learn, LLC, Claudia partners with nonprofits, government agencies, and educational organizations across the United States to strengthen systems, improve program quality, and expand leadership capacity.
Claudia brings deep expertise in federal grant management, having secured and managed multiple multi-million-dollar grants and launched compliant residential and education-based programs across several states. She has led national operational, compliance, and training initiatives impacting thousands of employees, ensuring alignment with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
With extensive experience in curriculum development for both children and adults, Claudia has designed leadership academies, professional development systems, early childhood curriculum supports, and trauma-informed training frameworks. She has supervised, coached, and developed large multidisciplinary teams ranging from 70 to over 200 employees across multi-state operations.
