Scott helps organizations and people grow by teaming up with subject matter experts in the area’s leadership, strategy, and business development across North America, to provide unique and powerful growth solutions.
As an accomplished senior business development professional leader with over 30 years of experience in publishing (construction), telecom, professional services, software industry, IT and Not for Profit industries, Scott has a genuine interest and ability to learn about organizations, the people who make that organization unique and the ability (and willingness) to listen to explore ways to add value.
Scott has held business development and leadership positions in many different industries: 7 years in construction reporting (Southam), 15 years in telecommunications (Sprint Canada and Rogers), 3 years in professional services (KPMG) and 2 years in software development (Protegra). The diversity of these experiences has provided Scott with challenging yet rewarding lessons and a unique perspective that allows him to better support his clients across a variety of industries and experience levels.
More recently, Scott has worked at growing his consulting practice and joined forces with The Envision Group, to provide Business Development (activities/training and coaching) and Leadership Development (training and coaching). He has supported clients in oil and gas, renewable energy, IT startups, telecommunications and various nonprofits.
As Scott progresses in his professional journey, he has come to genuinely appreciate the value and pride that comes with having the opportunity to help someone else on their professional journey. Whether training a group of people or coaching an individual one on one, he takes the responsibility to help someone evolve their skills and take that next step seriously. That said, he makes sure everyone has some fun along the way.
Locally he has worked with clients that include the United Way and the World Trade Centre Winnipeg.
