Based in Central Alberta and for the past ten years, Derek has been negotiating and facilitating the acquisition of land & infrastructure for a multitude of large mining/oil & gas companies throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Derek’s true passion is people, and his ability to cultivate and grow relationships has helped him achieve a lifelong dream of coaching. The latest partner of the Envision team, Derek is a great motivator and enabler. Over the past 10 years Derek has worked in infrastructure real estate and has become a successful entrepreneur, negotiating and procuring multi-million dollar development contracts. Derek’s experience also having worked with First Nations groups and prominent members of the Edmonton business & farming community, has also afforded him the ability to associate with a vast group of leaders and executives.
Derek specializes in one on one and team based coaching and thrives to work with performance athletes and professional teams. Derek still continues to guide elite athletes through their journey to play at the highest level. Derek has a background of negotiations, dispute resolution, facilitation, and motivational coaching. A highly skilled negotiator in the oil and gas industry, Derek is also a member of various education and professional development and ethics associations.
